Before you begin
Use Windows 10 22H2 or Windows 11. Save open work. If another organization manages the PC, obtain authorization. Download only from the official Lexyte link or your purchase email.
1. Verify and open
Confirm the installer filename and published SHA-256 checksum. Open Properties → Digital Signatures and confirm the expected Lexyte publisher before running the file.
2. Approve installation
Windows asks for administrator approval because setup installs the protected service and secure local data folders. The everyday dashboard does not stay elevated.
3. Complete guided setup
Read the limitations, confirm authorization, run the first scan, review risks, choose Windows lockdown settings, create and confirm the Security PIN, then print the recovery code.
4. Activate or continue free
Paste the license key from the purchase email for continuous protection, or continue clearly labeled Scanner mode. Restart if setup requests it, then verify the dashboard says Protected.
