Activate
Open Lexyte → Settings → License, paste the key from the purchase email, and select Activate. Internet access is needed for initial activation and occasional term, renewal, and revocation checks—not for ordinary local protection.
Plan limits
Personal and Founding Member permit one active personal-use PC. Family permits up to five household PCs. Business plans permit their stated number of business-owned PCs. The signed claim carries the plan ID, billing model, seat count, term dates, and feature entitlements.
Replace a computer
On the old computer, open License and choose Deactivate. If that computer is unavailable, contact support from the verified purchase email. Replacement remains subject to the approved bounded replacement policy.
Offline behavior
The client verifies a cryptographically signed, device-bound activation locally. Subscription licenses include a bounded offline grace period; an unknown revocation result must not be presented as confirmed valid.
Never share a key with a caller
A license key proves a purchase; it does not prove a caller is Lexyte support. Support will not ask for the Security PIN, recovery code, passwords, or remote control.
